Marisa Rhode Joins Significance as Vice President of Corporate Strategy
Annapolis, MD- November 13, 2024 – Significance, Inc. is pleased to announce that Marisa Rhode has joined the organization as Vice President of Corporate Strategy. With over 16 years of experience in Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) within the Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Marisa is widely recognized for her expertise in federal budgeting, business development, and program management. Her career reflects a consistent track record of advancing client success and driving growth through strategic insight and organizational acumen.
Most recently, Marisa served as Vice President at Aeyon, a digital transformation firm, where she played an integral role in developing innovative solutions for both internal corporate processes and external client capabilities. Her extensive background in Digital Transformation, Financial Management, and PPBE support for various government entities, particularly the Department of the Navy and the United States Marine Corps, uniquely positions her to further Significance’s mission in serving federal agencies with impactful solutions. As an experienced business development leader, Marisa brings a robust skill set in strategy, organizational development, and capture management, complemented by a broad network within the government and defense sectors.
In addition to her corporate roles, Marisa has served as a Navy Budget Officer and worked at every level of the Department. She has held significant positions within the United States Senate Committee on Appropriations, applying her expertise in financial analytics and the congressional appropriations process to influence budget policies across the Department of Defense, FEMA, and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Actively engaged in the Defense Industrial community, Marisa serves on the Board of Directors for the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) and as Executive Secretary for the PPBE Reform Task Force with the Society of Defense Financial Managers (SDFM), promoting vital budgetary reforms and collaboration between the DoD and private sector.
