Dyson Richards is the Chief Executive Officer at cBEYONData where he is responsible to profitably grow the company, mature corporate processes, and expand corporate capabilities to substantially increase enterprise value. He applies his three decades of experience and skills building world-class federally focused IT and consulting capabilities to enhance their reputation as a leading professional services and products firm. Works with customers, government leaders, partners, and practitioners within cBEYONData to align corporate offerings with the evolving needs of current and future clients. Dyson has always been active in the federal government contracting industry serving on the Board of Directors of the Professional Services Council (PSC) and volunteering as a member of the Acquisition & Business Policy Council Executive Advisory Board and Chairman of the Smart Contracting Working Group. Dyson began his career in the U.S. Navy where he specialized in operating nuclear power plants as an instructor at a land-based training facility and operator aboard the USS Enterprise. After 8 years of service, he leveraged his Navy roots in the government contracting industry serving in roles of increasing responsibility at Newport News Shipbuilding, Keyfile Corporation, Vredenburg, American Management Systems (AMS), RGS Associates which was sold to USfalcon in 2018, Xcelerate Solutions, and now cBEYONData. As a business partner, informal mentor, and Board of Directors/Advisors member, Dyson has helped dozens of businesses mature their business strategies, operational processes, and growth plans. Currently engaged as an outside board member for two government contractors. He has participated in twelve corporate acquisitions/transactions and subsequent integrations (five as a seller and seven as a buyer), creating invaluable insights into the strategies and attributes that contribute to successful corporate value creation.
